• The OpenStays.AI homepage states 0% booking commission, no listing fee and no monthly subscription.
• Their product is a Property Passport: you send the URL of an existing listing, review a private draft, and approve which facts become public for AI agents to read.
• Their How can it be free? page states that they do not take booking payments, and that optional paid services fund the free network.
• The footer on every page states that OpenStays.AI does not take payments, inspect properties, verify ownership or guarantee stays, and that guests should book through the owner's own domain.
• The site is published in English and its contact WhatsApp number is a United Kingdom number.

Why Malaysian operators look for something else

• A passport needs a booking route to point at: an owner with only an Airbnb link sends the guest back to the channel they were trying to avoid.
• The facts a passport publishes, prices, rooms, beds and open dates, have to be correct and current somewhere first.
• Approving a passport does not answer the message, hold the date, collect the deposit or issue the receipt.

   Give the passport a booking page to point at

   For: Owners with no direct booking route of their own yet.

   Publish the passport alone

   For: Owners who already have a direct booking site that takes dates and payments.

   If your booking route already works, a free passport adds discovery without adding work. There is no reason to change a system that is doing its job.
